BeoLab and Beovox 5000 / 3000 speakers blend powerful sound with striking design. As part of the company’s iconic panel loudspeaker series, these speakers showcase its expertise in merging advanced audio technology with stylish aesthetics, creating a unique listening experience.
At first glance, these speakers resemble artwork rather than high-performance audio devices. Yet their sound tells a different story. Even at high volumes, they maintain a flawless, balanced audio profile that captivates listeners.
Bang & Olufsen designed the BeoLab and Beovox 5000 / 3000 speakers as elegant, flat-panel loudspeakers specifically for wall mounting. With smooth blue or grey fabric and polished steel accents, they look like modern art pieces. However, their design goes beyond visual appeal. The flat-panel construction uses an advanced acoustic principle, turning the wall into an active part of sound reproduction. This setup enhances audio quality without causing wall vibrations.
These speakers come in two sizes and offer optional features like an integrated amplifier and a display. The display shows useful information, such as the current source, volume level, and even track numbers on a CD or tape. Models that include both the amplifier and display carry the BeoLab label, while models without them are called Beovox. This setup varies depending on the specific Bang & Olufsen system in use. For instance, BeoLab models pair well with systems like the Beosystem 6500, 4500, 3500, or the Beocenter 9500 and 8500.
By placing amplifiers directly into the speakers, Bang & Olufsen reduces cabinet size to just a third of what a traditional speaker would require for similar output. Known as Active Loudspeakers, this design enables these compact speakers to deliver high volumes without distortion. The integrated setup also enables precise tuning between the amplifier, treble, and bass units, ensuring faithful music playback.
Effortless Mounting
Each speaker model includes wall-mounting brackets, allowing for seamless installation that adds elegance to any space.
