BeoSound 2000 offers superior sound without the bulk and a full range of features without the complexity. Designed by David Lewis, this sleek, slim-profile system combines CD, tape, and FM radio into a compact form that either stands on its own or mounts on the wall. Moreover, the illuminated buttons guide you easily through the various functions.
BeoSound 2000: Exceptional Performance with Space-Saving Design
Known as BeoSound Century in Europe, BeoSound 2000 merges exceptional performance with ease of use. With everything built-in, it’s ideal for those with limited space, measuring just 11cm in depth. Additionally, it’s perfect for users who don’t need Beolink® connectivity. You can also equip it with a handle and a built-in active antenna for portability. Like all BeoLab speakers, BeoSound 2000 uses active speaker construction.
BeoSound 2000: Award-Winning Design and Functionality
In the late ’90s, BeoSound 2000 released a limited edition featuring polished aluminum instead of the standard black plastic on the CD holder. As a result, this design proved so popular that it became the standard. There are two stand options available: a wall mount and a special table stand. Furthermore, you can control the system with the optional Beo4 remote.
BeoSound 2000: Deep Bass and Powerful Sound
BeoSound 2000 delivers powerful sound through two active loudspeakers with an electronic crossover network and Adaptive Bass Linearization. This ensures the perfect balance between bass reproduction and sound pressure. Despite the small 1.1-liter cabinet volume, the large front grille allows space for sizable woofer membranes, thus delivering impressive bass.
BeoSound 2000: Fine Control and Easy Operation
BeoSound 2000 features backlit push buttons made of opalescent plastic, with black paint inside and laser-burnt text. Each button lights up with a diode for even illumination, and hinges on the buttons ensure durability. Although the design is simple, it requires attention to detail for maximum functionality.
Streamlined Functionality and Convenience
BeoSound simplifies operation with 26 buttons. Only the buttons you need for each function light up, guiding you step-by-step through every action.
Recognized Design Excellence
BeoSound earned the Danish Design Centre’s IP Prize in 1994.
Flexible Mounting Options
BeoSound comes with a table stand for easy placement on a cabinet. Additionally, you can also use the optional wall mount bracket for wall installation.
