In addition to internet radio, BeoSound 5 Encore lets you play music from a variety of sources. You can connect a hard drive, NAS drive, computer, USB drive, or handheld device. Its support for lossless quality guarantees perfect music reproduction.

If you love a playlist created by MOTS, you can save it and play it again anytime.

Convenient Wireless Control via Smartphone for Seamless Music Enjoyment with Beosound Encore

One exciting feature of the new software is the ability to wirelessly transfer content to BeoSound 5 from a smartphone. This update also enhances your listening experience, as music now plays through connected Bang & Olufsen speakers.

“If you’re in the kitchen, you can access content from BeoSound 5 using your iPad, iPod touch, or iPhone. Once you find the song you want, you can play it through speakers in the room or dock your Apple device into the BeoSound 8 speaker dock,” explains Rie Kold Pripsø.

The new BeoSound 5 Encore primarily targets customers who don’t already own Bang & Olufsen products.
