The Beocenter 1600 combines an FM stereo tuner, hi-fi amplifier, and cassette recorder for maximum operational convenience. Notably, it allows you to preset up to four of your favorite FM stations, enhancing ease of use. Additionally, the hi-fi amplifier delivers robust power, low distortion, and a wide frequency range, enabling you to fully appreciate the tuner’s excellent performance.

Moreover, the built-in cassette recorder is user-friendly, allowing you to adjust recording levels easily with a sliding potentiometer for both channels. Furthermore, an illuminated indicator provides real-time monitoring, while a selector switch lets you choose between normal and chromium dioxide tapes.

During their release, both the Beocenter 1500 and Beocenter 1600 stood out as some of the most compact audio systems available. Despite their small dimensions, they can fill large rooms with rich, immersive sound. In addition, the solid aluminum push buttons on the Beocenter 1500 provide durability, while the anodized aluminum front panel of the Beocenter 1600 resists scratches and marks.

When paired with two speakers from the Beovox Uni-Phase range, the Beocenter 1600 creates an impressive Beosystem 1600.
