Beocenter 2200

Beocenter 2200 is a distinctive high-fidelity system. Notably, it features a compact, slim-line design that integrates a 3-waveband radio, record player, and cassette capabilities. With a maximum power output of 2 x 25 watts RMS, it delivers impressive audio performance.

First, the radio section covers long, medium, and FM bands. You can preset four favorite FM stations for instant recall. Moreover, a horizontal thumbwheel on the front facilitates manual tuning. Additionally, the large graph-grid tuning scale ensures easy visibility and operation.

Next, the record deck includes Bang & Olufsen’s latest tone arm, which carries the ultra-light MMC 5 pickup. It operates entirely automatically, requiring just a single touch of the PHONO button. Furthermore, built-in logic circuits identify the size and speed of any record placed on the lightweight turntable. This feature ensures that the pickup arm cues onto the run-in groove with precision and safety.

In terms of the cassette recorder, it features electronic control, allowing seamless transitions between functions. For instance, you can switch directly between fast rewind and PLAY without risking strain on the mechanism or damaging the tape. Additionally, it includes Dolby B noise reduction and automatically selects between ferric and chrome tapes. Metal tapes are also compatible, ensuring top-class sound quality for exceptional recordings.

When it comes to listening to your favorite tracks, the NEXT button makes it effortless. It lets you scan the tape track by track until you find the one you want to hear.

Finally, for optimal audio performance, the recommended speakers for the Beocenter 2200 are the Beovox X25.

Connections: The system includes a mono microphone input, two pairs of speaker outputs, a headphone jack, and an external tape recorder with two-way copying capabilities, as well as AM and FM aerial connections.
