Powerful Amplification for Exceptional Sound

Equipped with four power amplifier modules, each delivering 1000 watts for the main and upper woofers and 250 watts for the midrange and tweeter, BeoLab 5 offers a total output of 2500 watts. This incredible power allows the speakers to reach concert-level sound pressure levels, achieving sustained levels of 108 dB SPL and peaks of 120 dB SPL without distortion. The fully digital design supports S/PDIF input, ensuring high-quality signal processing.

Innovative Acoustic Technologies

BeoLab 5 integrates several groundbreaking technologies to enhance sound reproduction. The Acoustic Lens Technology (ATL) redistributes sound in a 180-degree horizontal plane, ensuring uniform frequency response across a wide coverage area. This innovation helps eliminate the directional shortcomings typical of conventional loudspeakers.

Additionally, Adaptive Bass Control (ABC) listens to the room’s ambient sound and adjusts the output for optimal performance. Adaptive Bass Linearisation (ABL) further extends bass reproduction without stressing the speaker components, ensuring a rich sound experience that remains faithful to the original recording.
