BeoSound Ouverture, known as BeoSound 4000 in some regions, is an iconic stereo from Bang & Olufsen. It was the first to support the MasterLink system without extra add-ons. This system is, in fact, a successor to the BeoCenter 2500, which introduced a unique design. BeoSound Ouverture was launched in 1991 as BeoSound 2500, and it came with the new Beo4 remote control.
The BeoSound Ouverture replaced two-way communication with a new CD mechanism. Additionally, the MasterLink connection allows seamless integration with BeoLab speakers, such as the BeoLab 2000 or 3500, with no additional electronics. Furthermore, the sliding glass doors open gently when activated, welcoming you to a richer music experience.

• Timer Function: Moreover, you can wake up to your favorite music instead of an alarm. The timer will turn off the system after your chosen playtime.
The glass doors glide open and shut via steel wires and an electric motor. The system uses an infrared sensor to detect your presence. As you approach, the doors open smoothly, thus welcoming you to the music.
