Beosystem 9000c reborn from Beosound 9000

Beosystem 9000C

Beosystem 9000c is a masterpiece of sound, blending the past with the present. Paired with the Beolab 28speakers, we’ve transformed the iconic Beosound 9000 CD player for today’s listeners.

Limited Edition: Only 200 units available

We’ve stripped the original Beosound 9000 CD player down to its core and rebuilt it. Guided by David Lewis’ original vision, we proudly display your music rather than hiding it in a black box. Consequently, the Beosound 9000c now showcases your albums in its tall, transparent form, turning your collection into a gallery. Moreover, the Beolab 28speakers deliver the purest fidelity from your CDs. Together, they create a goosebump-inducing fusion of acoustics and aesthetics. This is the Beosystem 9000c — a tribute to the past, designed for the future.

Modern Technology Meets Timeless Design with Beosystem 9000c

The Beosound 9000c combines cutting-edge technology with the elegance of its classic design. For example, the new anodized floor stand and fabric cable add texture to its iconic silhouette. To seamlessly unite the past and present, we’ve integrated Beoconnect Encore, ensuring effortless connectivity with two Beolab 28 speakers. This feature unlocks their full modern capabilities: customizable sound direction, bass that adapts to any room, and precise stereo coordination. In an era where CDs are often seen as obsolete, Bang & Olufsen celebrates their legacy with the Beosound 9000c. By reimagining this classic player, we deliver every note, detail, and beat of your collection like never before.

It’s not just about exceptional sound — it’s about the experience. With Beosystem 9000c, you can hold the music in your hands, admire the album artwork, and carefully choose your next track. With a 90s-style control panel and a six-CD changer, the Beosystem 9000c lets you relive the golden age of CDs. As a result, every listening session becomes an event. Indeed, every press of the play button brings the music alive in your hands.

The Engineering of the Beosystem 9000c: Not Just for Show

The Beosystem 9000c doesn’t just look good — it performs. The CD clamp accelerates like a sports car, and an LED ring illuminates as it spins your discs with precision. In addition, seamless switching between tracks occurs, no matter the CD. The result is an endless, continuous flow of sound, 31 years ahead of its time. We house it all under a glass case, keeping the artwork and movement as clear and captivating as the music itself.

Imagined in London. Born in Denmark.

In 1995, David Lewis, the visionary behind Bang & Olufsen’s iconic designs, had an epiphany while walking past a record store window in Soho, London. He was captivated by the sight of six CDs laid out in a row, forming a gallery of album artwork. He thought, What if music could be displayed, instead of hidden in a black box? This moment sparked the creation of the Beosound 9000, a six-CD changer and a record store window in one. It allowed you to share your music, fill your home with beautiful sound, and celebrate the visual art of your collection.
