The picture tube, being the heaviest component, is mounted on a specially designed aluminum framework that also houses the speakers and wiring. The term “dance steady” reflects the AV5’s capability to operate smoothly, regardless of external movement. To achieve this, each critical unit is isolated from the bearing structure using rubber suspension sleeves, effectively minimizing vibrations.
Imagine turning the AV5 on and off ten times a day for ten years—that’s 180,000 cycles! To prepare for this, the speakers underwent testing beyond 500,000 cycles, ensuring reliability.
Ingenious Solutions Design
