The most basic tangential turntable of the day, based on Bang & Olufsen Beogram 6002. The two were very similar, the differences being that the cover over the arm at the side of the lid was black (as opposed to natural aluminium on Beogram 6002) and that no Datalink module was fitted. Bang & Olufsen Beogram TX was an ideal addition to an older Beosystem or Beomaster, perhaps the Beomaster 2400, though with a suitable lead it could be connected to other makes of receiver too. Never a big seller, Beogram TX was replaced by the Beogram 5005-based TX 2 in 1985.
