Bang & Olufsen Beovox MS150 and M150 loudspeakers were designed by Bang & Olufsen in response to the growing demand for high-quality, realistic sound reproduction and a wider dynamic range.

When they were first introduced, these were the largest and most refined loudspeakers made by B&O. They were made to deliver sound with a natural, linear phase quality, even at very high sound pressure levels. 150 watts RMS was the power handling capacity that was specified for them. But short bursts of music much beyond their ratings were handled by efficient overload prevention circuits.

The MS150 was also built to provide a clear, strong bass in a room that was not too big. For this reason, it had a 64-liter net capacity and a monitor-quality subwoofer installed. It reproduced the lowest tones that could be obtained from a record, tape, or FM broadcast. All other speaker drivers in both variants were the same, with the exception of the subwoofer.

The well-balanced Beovox Uni-Phase MS150 loudspeakers could precisely and faithfully reproduce every kind of music, from the softest to the loudest tones. They were a perfect fit for other high-end, high-fidelity systems, such as the BeoLab 8000 music system.
