Bang & Olufsen Beolab 4000 MK 2 was released in 2007. Almost unintentionally, the major change was upgrade of the Digital ICE amplifiers to replace the AB type. The Digital ICE amplifiers provides better sound expression and improvement of the amplifier boards. Beolab 4000 MK 2 design remained unchanged, customers would not have noticed if B&O had not informed them of the differences between the MK1 and MK2 models.
