Beocenter 2000

The Beocenter 2000 was a compact, high-fidelity music system featuring an FM/AM tuner, a 2 x 25 watts RMS stereo amplifier, an integrated record player, and a high-quality cassette deck.

The semi-automatic record player showcased Bang & Olufsen’s unique engineering, ensuring all components worked in harmony for optimal performance. The newly designed low-mass pickup, paired with the MMC 20 S cartridge, was a standout example of this innovation.

Operating the radio and cassette deck was simple and intuitive. Sliding controls allowed easy adjustment of volume, bass, treble, and balance, while four FM stations could be preset for quick push-button recall. The cassette deck featured a handy green/red indicator, making it easy to set accurate recording levels. Just add headphones or a pair of Beovox speakers, and you had a complete entertainment system. Paired with Beovox S45 speakers, the Beocenter 2000 formed the Beosystem 2000.

Additionally, the SC20 system cabinet, specifically designed for the Beocenter 2000, offered a functional and elegant solution. It elevated the unit to the ideal operating height while providing storage for LPs, cassettes, and audio accessories.
